Feta and Chilli Fillo Fingers

Ingredients

Makes 8 fingers
4 sheets Antoniou Fillo Pastry
2 x 120g blocks Feta cheese
Olive oil, for brushing
Sesame seeds
Chilli flakes

Method  

Before you begin this Fillo Pastry recipe, take your Filo Pastry out of the fridge to bring it up to room temperature in its packaging.

Cut each block of Feta cheese into 4 long pieces. Cut your sheets of Fillo Pastry in half, parallel to the short side of the Pastry. Lay one cut piece of Fillo Pastry on your bench, with the short side of the Pastry facing you. Brush with oil. Place one piece of cheese on the bottom edge of the Pastry, leaving a few centimetres from the edge. Sprinkle chilli flakes over Feta. Fold the bottom edge of the Pastry over the Feta, fold the sides in, and roll to form a parcel. Brush with oil. Sprinkle one side of the fingers with sesame seeds. Repeat with remaining Pastry, Feta, sesame seeds and chilli flakes.

Transfer all of the parcels to the air fryer. Cook for 4 minutes at 200 degrees or until golden. It is normal for the rolls to expand and for some of the Feta to escape during the cooking process. Transfer to a plate, allow to cool for 4 minutes and enjoy immediately.
